It was an honor to present Aiden with his Shining Star award along with some fun and empowering toys and activities. We are inspired by his strength and perseverance. Our volunteer Elf Squad made a special curbside delivery of toys, holiday crafts and cuddly stuffed animals to patients in all of the oncology/hematology clinics we serve throughout Michigan and Ohio. And we shipped toys to our friends who are receiving cancer treatment in Pennsylvania, Texas and Kansas hospitals.
In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness month in September, the BTC Superhero team handed out superhero themed crafts, toys, apparel and other accessories to the true superheroes — the patients being treated at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
We were honored to be a part of Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s annual Celebration of Life event at C.J. Barrymore’s, where we supplied hundreds of toys and stuffed animals to over 1,400 current and past patients!
Over 100 patients and their families were treated like Hollywood Royalty as they walked the Red Carpet to a private screening of “Toy Story 4”, and attended an exclusive BTC after party with crafts, photo booth fun and lots of other fun surprises.
