Get Involved

The Bottomless Toy Chest couldn’t exist without the support of people like you. here are some great ways to get involved:

Would you consider having a business casual day, golf outing, car wash, or spare change collection to support The Bottomless Toy Chest? Perhaps you have a great fundraiser idea or your own. It costs an average of $15 to purchase a project. Think of how many kids you could help if you raised $500 – $10,000 or more!

We have an ongoing need for toys and activites for patients from infancy through age twenty-two. We’re most interested in activities that can occupy a person’s time while they are confined to a hospital bed. ALL ITEMS MUST BE NEW and have the original tags.

Wish List: Legos (all ages), teen girl crafts (e.g. Craftabelle), nail polish sets, sports team hats & apparel, Amazon & Starbucks gift cards, remote control helicopters, advanced building and construction sets.

Every single toy that we gets is gift-wrapped in clear cellophane and tied with a ribbon before we deliver it to a patient. Would your group be interested in having a wrap party? You can come to use or we can come to you. This is an excellent community service project for high school students. We’ll supply all of the wrapping supplies and toys.

Give yourself the gift of knowing you helped someone else by asking friends and family to make a donation to BTC in honor of your special celebration. For more information, call 248-646-8931 or contact us at

You can help brighten the days of many children by sponsoring one of our special events: Red Carpet Movie Event, Superhero Day, Tons of Toys, Toy-tacular or Warehouse Fun Day. We also have sponsorship opportunities for our Bottomless Bowl event. This is our annual family-friendly bowling fundraiser held at 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights. Please consider a corporate sponsorship and/or forming a team with your friends and work colleagues. Contact us for more information!
